Refund Policy
Last updated: 06 July 2026
This Refund Policy explains how fees paid to Become Banker Education Pvt. Ltd. ("Become Banker", "we", "us") are treated if you choose to cancel your enrolment. Please read it carefully before making any payment. By enrolling in a program you agree to the terms below.
1. Free Seat Booking
Booking a seat in an upcoming batch is free. A seat reservation simply holds your place while our counsellor confirms your eligibility, program fit and batch schedule. No payment is required to reserve a seat, and a reservation does not create any obligation to enrol.
2. Cooling-Off Period
Once you pay a program fee, you are entitled to a cooling-off period of 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of payment, during which you may cancel and request a refund of the program fee, provided that:
- the request is made in writing to hello@becomebanker.in within the 7-day window; and
- the batch has not yet started, or fewer than three (3) training sessions have been attended, whichever is earlier.
Eligible cooling-off refunds are processed after deducting any non-refundable charges described in Section 3, and any payment-gateway or transaction fees already incurred.
3. Non-Refundable Charges
- Registration / booking charges (where applicable) and certification / examination fees paid to third parties such as NISM (SEBI) or IRDAI are non-refundable once the registration or exam slot has been booked.
- Study materials, kits and any digital access already issued to you are non-refundable.
- Payment-gateway charges and applicable taxes (GST) are non-refundable.
4. After the Cooling-Off Period
Once the cooling-off period has ended, or once you have attended three (3) or more training sessions, the program fee becomes non-refundable, as we will have committed trainer time, placement resources and third-party registrations on your behalf. In genuine hardship cases (for example, a serious medical emergency supported by documentation), we may at our sole discretion offer a partial credit that can be adjusted against a future batch. Such credit is a goodwill gesture and not an entitlement.
5. EMI & Instalment Payments
If you have opted for an EMI or instalment plan, cancellation within the cooling-off period stops future instalments and refunds eligible amounts as above. Any EMI already disbursed by a financing partner is governed by that partner's loan agreement; you remain responsible to the financier for amounts already advanced, subject to their cancellation terms.
6. Partner / Hire-and-Train Programs
Certain programs are hire-and-train pathways offered by partner banks and insurers in association with Manipal (UNext Manipal Academy of BFSI) or other providers. For these programs, fees are payable to, and collected by, the respective program provider. Refunds for partner-program fees are governed entirely by that provider's own refund policy, which is shared with you at the time of enrolment. Become Banker acts only as a counselling and application-guidance partner and does not control or hold these fees.
7. Placement Assistance
Our programs include guaranteed placement assistance — interview opportunities with our hiring partners subject to program completion, attendance and assessment criteria. Placement assistance is a service, not a fee component, and its outcome does not, by itself, create any right to a refund.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@becomebanker.in from your registered email address, or call us at +91 99999 99999, with your name, mobile number, batch and reason for cancellation. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 working days of approval.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect on your date of payment applies to that payment. For any clarification, please contact us before you pay.
